The company was started in 1973 by Mr.M.B.Vaishampayan, as a one-man operation for manufacturing hand operated “Bursting Strength Testers” for Paper and Packaging Industry. Later on Mr.A.M Paranjpe joined him. Over a period of time a range of products have been developed for Testing Paper, Corrugation, Plastics and Packaging Materials. Ubique also manufactures machines for Quality control of the Packaging materials and the end product. A range of products are available for testing the Road Worthiness of the Packaging media. Ubique simultaneously started manufacturing Testing Machines for the Automotive Industry. Keeping in pace with the need of the industry for manufacture of special purpose machines, Ubique Systems was incorporated in 1989 for the manufacture of “Special Purpose Testing Machines”.
