The HALF BEARING TEST RIG is designed to check the HALF BEARINGS for CRUSH HEIGHT AND PARALLELITY HALF BEARINGS also called as THIN WALLED SHELL BEARINGS, have to be in close tolerance with respect to the Centre Line under a particular load. The Meaurement of this centreline thus requires a special checking methods. THE HALF BEARING TEST RIG simulates these checking methods and complies to the SAE J506 Test standard. In addition to the Centre line height, the Inclination of the mating face is also checked on the HALF BEARING TEST RIG.
